Limitations
However, MindMeister still has many problems, such as its lack of design for real-time communication within the platform. If you only use mindmeister as the only tool for online collaboration and communication, you can only add text boxes to the mind map and enter what you want to say. This is very inconvenient, and what's more, mindmeister is subject to network factors, which causes all other people's modifications and inputs that you can see to be delayed when the network conditions are not good. This greatly reduces the convenience of using mindmeister for online collaboration. If you must use mindmeister for remote collaboration, you will need other real-time chat software or video and audio calls to assist your work.
